Following the initial inspiration of seeing Cirque Gosh perform at the
1994 Galway Arts Festival, Hillas' journey has seen him travel through
several European countries, receiving tuition in advanced acrobatics and
juggling, performing and teaching in addition to working with Australian
based Lunar Circus. Since coming to Belfast in 2001 he has continued to
experiment, performing in theatres, schools and hospitals as well as in
his more accustomed environment of the big top and the street.
